A CONNECTION THAT GOES BACK

Matera, in
two moments.

The archive also documents an earlier intervention in Matera in 2016. A decade after that chapter, the city welcomed another Wind Igloo project as part of Southway in 2026.

01 / The project

A space that
changes the view.

As part of Southway – Sail into the Clouds, Wind Igloo brought an immersive installation to several squares in Matera. Air, light and volume opened a temporary dialogue with the city and its historic landscape.

Every project begins with the place and the people who meet there. The igloo does more than occupy a space: it suggests another way to enter, see and share it.
